Programs Overview
Empowering Horizons offers diverse programs tailored to foster growth, independence, and fun while working together to achieve NDIS goals.
Day Options
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Engage in fitness, sports, outdoor activities, art, cooking, animal care and community access.
- Develop life skills, social connections and confidence in a supportive environment.
- The cost includes transport to, from, and during care and activity expenses. Unless otherwise stated, the only out-of-pocket expense is food.
After-School Program
Time: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM
- Enjoy Recreational Games, Cooking, farm activities, art and homework assistance.
- Pick-up from school is provided to help those working families juggle after-school care.
- Cost includes transport to, from and during care and activity expenses. Small afterschool snacks are provided.
School Holiday Program
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
(extended hours available)
- Beat the boredom of school holidays with friends.
- Stay active with excursions, farm activities, creative workshops and cooking classes.
- The cost includes transport to, from, and during care and activity expenses. Unless otherwise stated, the only out-of-pocket expense is food.
Weekend Mentoring Program
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Build life skills and independence through guided mentoring and outings.
- Visit various places in and around Adelaide with friends, fun and laughter.
- All costs include transport to, from, and during care and activity expenses. Unless otherwise stated, the only out-of-pocket expense is food.
Special Event Attendance
Time: As per event schedule
- Enjoy sports, music and local events while having fun and building social connections.
- Group tickets and support ensure a stress-free experience.
- The cost includes transport to, from, and during care. However, an out-of-pocket cost of food and an event ticket will be required.
